Hospitalizations
This section provides a snapshot of hospitalizations among -confirmed COVID-19 cases in Onondaga County. Cases are included even if COVID-19 is not their primary diagnosis. Cases residing in other counties have been excluded from these counts even if they received care in an Onondaga County hospital.
Deaths
This section provides an overview of COVID-19 deaths in Onondaga County. Cases residing outside of Onondaga County at the time of their death have been excluded from these counts. Please note, deaths of Onondaga County residents that occur outside of Onondaga County’s border are also excluded from these counts. Unless otherwise specified, the data presented below include deaths occurring in all settings, including Nursing Homes or Adult Care Facilities, inpatient hospital settings, and community settings.
The following graphs include breakdowns by demographics and residence type for deaths occurring in hospital and community settings. Information related to deaths occurring within Nursing Homes or Adult Care Facilities is maintained by the NYSDOH and therefore not included in the visuals below.
